A holiday park lodge is expected to break records by becoming Wales’s most expensive as demand surges.
Recent years has seen prices creep over £500,000 with sites like The Warren in Abersoch and Aberconwy Resort and Spa in Conwy among the most sought after locations.
Another hotspot is Plas Coch near Brynsiencyn on Anglesey – and this is where the new record is expected to be set with a lodge on the market for £625,000.

Ian Wyn-Jones, from Ian Wyn-Jones Real Estate, said: “We have sold many lodges for the park over recent months since we launched in January, demand is vast and I’ve never seen this.
“Plas Coch is a five star complex and in the past the park has had various lodges around the £500,000 but now we are looking to break records by placing this lodge on the open market.”
While the site is special he believes it is also the high spec and size of the lodge will see it topple previous records.
He added: “Not only is this a home from home, it has all the hi-tech equipment that all modern homes have and the quality is five star from the flooring to the kitchen finishes; to the integrated appliances to the bathroom suites.”
There is also a bluetooth linked heating system that you can control from your phone and a vast private decking area with a spa pool.
Ian added: “The lodge has vast views of the Welsh mountains, this is a dream home from home and we have already had many enquiries.”
