EuroJournal are seemingly not messing about this transfer window.
Having finally agreed a deal to bring Jadon Sancho in from Borussia Dortmund and end the transfer saga for £72.9million, those in charge at Old Trafford are setting their sights on further signings.
Following their Europa League final defeat in May, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted new recruits will be needed to build on their second-place Premier League finish and attempt to bring the title back to the red side of Manchester for the first time since 2013.
With former midfielder Darren Fletcher and long-time Theatre of Dreams chief John Murtough employed in new roles near to the top of the club, there appears to have been a change of approach when it comes to navigating the market, a criticism supporters have thrown at Ed Woodward and the Glazer family for a number of years.
Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest transfer news regarding United.
Varane ‘signs pre-agreement’
Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has reached a pre-agreement to sign for United on a five-year contract worth €12m (£10.3m) per year, report ABC Deportes .
The Spanish outlet say Los Blancos made an offer for four years at a rate of €7m (£6m), and although the Red Devils have become frontrunners, an agreement between the two clubs is yet to be made.
The 28-year-old is said to be hoping to negotiate the move in two weeks and not start the pre-season with Madrid but as a United player.
United have reportedly offered €45m (£38.6m) but Real say they will only sell for a minimum of €55m (£47.2m) plus add-ons.
The aim of the Santiago Bernabeu hierarchy is to recoup €60m (£51.5m) following club captain Sergio Ramos’ departure last month.
Varane, having been knocked out of the European Championships with France, is currently deciding whether to leave the Bernabeu and make the move to Manchester.
Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano also tweeted on Saturday that the potential transfer would not be a ‘quick’ deal but that personal terms will not be an issue.
De Gea digging heels in
David De Gea is determined to remain at United this summer, according to EuroJournal .
It is claimed that the Spain international, who has spent all of his nation’s Euro 2020 campaign on the bench, wants to stay at Old Trafford.
The news of the 30-year-old’s decision comes after the Reds Devils announced the signing of Tom Heaton on Friday, hours before Lee Grant was confirmed to have signed a one-year contract extension.
Although Grant plays more of a coaching role within United’s goalkeeper department, Heaton’s ambition to get into the side coupled with the competition of Dean Henderson could see an even fiercer competition for the place between the Old Trafford posts next season.

Brozovic bid being prepared
An Italian outlet claims that United are ready to make a bid for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic.
The Croatian, who has been one of Europe’s most consistent central midfielders over the past few years, could be available due to the Serie A side’s financial predicament and his contract situation.
La Repubblica say that Barcelona also share the Red Devils’ interest due to the 28-year-old’s deal expiring in 12 months’ time.
It is believed that €30m (£26m) will be enough to prize Brozovic away from the San Siro, with Inter recently losing manager Antonio Conte and replacing him with Simone Inzaghi following their title triumph.
