There have been a further 234 coronavirus cases recorded across the county in the latest update on Saturday (July 3).
Bath and North East Somerset recorded 79 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, while North Somerset recorded 76 new cases.
In total across Somerset and Bath, 234 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, down from 281 yesterday.

Somerset West and Taunton recorded a further 27 cases while South Somerset returned 24 new positive tests.
Sedgemoor recorded another 21 cases and Mendip returned the fewest number of daily cases with just 13.

A total of 42,060 cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed across Somerset and Bath since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of positive test results in each area since the pandemic began is recorded below, with new positive test results in brackets:
- Bath and North East Somerset: 9,321 (+79)
- Mendip: 3,676 (+13)
- North Somerset: 11,163 (+76)
- Sedgemoor: 5,795 (+21)
- Somerset West and Taunton: 6,366 (+27)
- South Somerset: 5,739 (+18)
